• Amanda Batula and West Wilson attended a Yankees game in New York City on April 17.
  • During the game, Amanda and West shared a kiss during the game’s Kiss Cam segment.
  • Kyle Cooke, Amanda’s estranged ex-husband, shared his reaction to the moment on Instagram Threads.

The Summer House drama shows absolutely no signs of stopping, so for those of you (understandably) struggling to keep up, here’s the latest update: Amanda Batula declared that she will not being hiding away amid the drama that her relationship with West Wilson has caused, and as such, they’re still going out to public places. The couple even went to a New York Yankees game on April 17, and engaged in a heavy dose of PDA—and unsurprisingly, Kyle Cooke had some thoughts about that.

During the game’s Kiss Cam segment (AKA a small break in the game that sees the jumbotron searching for couples in the crowd), Amanda and West shared a brief kiss.

“Was not prepared to see that,” Kyle commented on a Summer House chain on Threads on Saturday, April 18. “And that. And that 🤢.”

As a reminder, Kyle and Amanda announced their mutual separation in a January 19 statement. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing,” they wrote.

They added, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

Since the Amanda and West drama has come to light, Kyle has shared some doubt about the timeline of Amanda and West’s relationship. “I’ve seen rumors, I’ve seen blinds, and I’ve had DM that say it dates back to June [2025],” Kyle said during a street interview. “But I’m gonna get crazy DMs like that. I don’t know what to believe.” He added that there was a “little murkiness” with his and Amanda’s separation.

Kyle also noted that West “positioned himself very conveniently to be this knight in shining armor for women, standing up for Amanda, checking me. I watch that, and for him to say what he said in his confessional, and double down on Watch What Happens, I was like…something’s up. He basically threw his friendship away with me in one swoop. And that’s when the wheels started turning in terms of, wait a minute, all these rumors.”

And of course, Kyle is feeling pretty hurt by the situation—he’s still piecing together how he plans to “confront West” and explained that they werw once very close friends. “I was at his parents’ house, I was riding horses at his dad’s ranch. Like, there’s some wild betrayal here.”

Kyle, however, might be moving on romantically—he was apparently spotted kissing Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King at Page Six’s party with Nine West in New York City on April 16, so…we’ll just sit tight for that reunion special.
